Care Ministries

At Wellspring, we desire to be a community that brings the love and compassion of Jesus Christ to help people see who God really is and how passionately He cares about them.

CARE TEAM

Are you someone, or do you know someone, in our church family or greater community, who is facing a challenging situation such as unemployment, time of illness, personal loss, marital breakdown, or some other kind of traumatic transition that may result in a shortfall of personal resources? If so, we have a team who can come alongside and help. Please contact Bill Andrews to take the next step in receiving assistance.

PRAYER REQUESTS

Our preference is for people to first share prayer requests with the Bible study small group they belong to. But if you are not part of a small group that regularly meets to pray together, or if you have a request that is too great a burden for your small group, then we encourage you to pass on your request to our Intercessory Prayer Team. Our Intercessory Prayer Team is made of individuals, elders, and pastoral staff who daily and weekly pray for needs that people make known to us. A weekly prayer request list is sent out to our Intercessory Prayer Team with updates.

MEAL MAKERS

For those who are temporarily in need of day-to-day assistance due to an emergency, hospitalization, injury, major surgery, death in the family, or the birth of a child, we have a team of volunteers who can provide meals for a short period of time. If you or someone you know could use some help with meals for a short period of time, please contact the church office.

We can put our faith into action by serving others. If you would like to volunteer to prepare meals, please contact the church office or Mabel Legault.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially those who belong to the family of believers.”
