This is our third week of our Plugged into Prayer series. The first week we learned how we should pray though the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6. Jesus provided a model for the practice of prayer that started with God and invited us to participate in his kingdom work in this world. The second week we looked Paul’s prayer for the believers in Ephesus in Ephesian 1. Paul persistently prayed for these believers remembering them regularly as he prayed to the Father. Through prayer we are invited to intercede for others in our lives bringing their needs before God. This week we will hear stories about how we can further partner with what God is doing in this world by loving our neighbours. This happens through prayer but also by being the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing the transforming gospel of Christ into the lives of others.
