Welcome to our series “The Shema”. The first message explored the propensity of our hearts to make idols—anything that takes the place of God—that we look to for ultimate meaning in our lives. So, to love God with all our hearts is to have no other gods before Him. The second message unpacked the implications of Jesus’ assertion that where our treasure is, there goes our heart. So to love God with all our hearts is to invest generously to promote His glory. Today we consider the role of God’s Word in loving Him with all our hearts.
