Welcome to our series called “The Whole Story.” Playing our part in the drama of redemption requires that we know the whole story from Creation (Act 1) to New Creation (Act 7). So far we have covered the first 3 Acts, ending with the sad story of Israel’s failure, just like Adam and Eve’s, to be image bearers of God to the nations through her wise, life-giving laws and worship of Yahweh. BUT throughout the tragic story, we saw God’s “failure-conquering vitality”, subversively at work through a unique descendant of Abraham, a unique King from the line David—Jesus. He’s the focus of this study.
