Join the paid staff team or the volunteer team to help make Adventure Camp amazing.

Paid Summer Staff

Summer Staff take on a leadership role at camp as they head up teams, guide small group discussions, and lead games and activities. 

If you're interested in applying to join the summer staff team​, plus submit your application by Friday, March 27th.​

Director

Camp Lead Team

  • 8 weeks: June 29-August 21, 2026

  • In addition to being a Camp Counsellor, the Camp Lead Team will assist in preparing for camp while receiving additional and intentional mentorship.

Assistant Director

Camp Counsellor

Requirements for all summer staff positions include:

  • Available to work at least two weeks of camp.

  • 15 years of age or older by their start date

  • Able to provide a Police Check if over the age of 18

  • Attend mandatory training on July 3 & 4

Applications open on January 20th at 11:00am

Volunteer Opportunities

There are lots of ways for you to get involved at Adventure Camp. Whether you can help for a whole week, or just an hour - we can use you on the team.

Camp Counsellor

(expected to be available for at least one full week of camp)

  • Work directly with kids!

  • Must be going into grade 7 in September 2026

  • Must be able to provide a Police Check if over the age of 18

  • Must attend mandatory training on July 3 from 7-9pm

Morning Leader Snack

(needed for every morning of camp!)

  • Deliver a peanut-free snack for 7:45am for leaders to enjoy

  • Plan for snack to feed 20-25 people

Camp Cleanup

(needed on the Friday of each week of camp)

  • Help place chairs, sweep floors, move furniture, etc

  • Arrive at 4pm

Check-in/out Volunteers

  • Help welcome kids to camp and get them checked in

  • Need 2 volunteers every day of camp from 8:30-9:30am

End-of-Day Parent Cafe

  • Help prep & serve coffee to parents before/during check-out

  • 2 volunteers every day from approx. 3:15-4:15pm

Photographer/Videographer

  • Take photos and videos of camp activities

  • Needed as often as possible (specify which days/hours you can volunteer by emailing camp@wellspringburlington.com)
