Kids Ministry

We have lots of kids and young families of all sizes and backgrounds at our church and we are pleased to offer something for every age.

Sunday KID ZONE - NURSERY To GRade 5

Every Sunday beginning at 10am we have Nursery care available for infants (birth-age 2) and Children's Church, all located on the Lower Level.  Children's Church is for Kids in Preschool to Grade 5 and consists of "Wee Worship" (Preschool and JK/SK) and "Kids Worship" (Grades 1-5) followed by teaching time where the children will participate in 45 minutes of large group learning and a small group, age-based classes, that dives deeper into the ideas presented during the large group.

As part of our Plan To Protect policy, we require all children to be registered by their parents to participate in our programs. Please CLICK HERE to download the registration form and return to Kaitlyn Van Helden to register your child.

We take seriously the safety and security of our kids, as each is a precious gift from God who deserve our greatest care.To ensure a safe environment for every aspect of our children's ministry, we have policies and procedures that require all of our volunteer workers to be screened and interviewed. We structure our programs in such a way that ensures there are always at least two adults with a child or group of children. Anyone who volunteers with Children and/or Youth, are required to have a Police Check/Vunerable Sector Screening run with the Halton Police.

Please CLICK HERE if you would like to volunteer with Children, Youth or Young Adults.

safety

To make sure we can identify your child and maintain a safe environment, we ask all parents on Sunday mornings to register and sign in their child(ren) electronically at our Children's Ministry desk in the hallway on the Lower Level. Electronic sign in will produce two labels, one for the child(ren) with their name on it and one for the parent/guardian with a code. The code is specific to your child(ren) and will be required to pick them up at the end of service.
