Pastor of Connections
905-637-1570 ext. 31
Born in Alberta, I spent most of my life in the Greater Toronto Area in Ontario. I became a follower of Jesus Christ as a young boy, and got involved in Camp Mini-Yo-We, a Christian summer camp in Muskoka, Ontario, where I spent eight summers there as a volunteer in my late teens and early twenties. It was through this experienced that I developed a deeper faith in Christ and a heart to serve in ministry.
Following my studies at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario where I received a B.A. Economics, I studied at Tyndale Seminary in Toronto, Ontario before transferring to Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois where I received a M.A. Religion. I have continued my graduate studies online through other seminaries in both Canada and the United States, and am also a graduate of the Arrow Leadership Program.
In 2007, I had the immense privilege of being ordained as a minister, and have spent 12 years serving in pastoral ministry as part of the Harvest Bible Fellowship of churches in Barrie and Oakville, Ontario, gaining valuable experience equipping leaders, overseeing programs and ministering to those in need.
I joined Prison Fellowship Canada in 2014 as the National Director, Programs and Volunteer Management. Prison Fellowship Canada is an organization that has the vision to see the lives of inmates, ex-offenders, their families, and victims transformed through the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. I serve full-time with PFC directing the regional development efforts across Canada, including church engagement, the management of our regional staff team, and the oversight of some key programs including Angel Tree Christmas.
I have been married to my amazing wife Adrienne since 2004, and we have the privilege of being the parents to three sons and a daughter.
We started attending Burlington Alliance in August 2014. I joined the staff team in February 2017 as the Pastor of Connections. In this part-time role I provide oversight to the integration of newcomers into the church community and to adult discipleship efforts through small groups.
My greatest passion is to know Jesus and to make Him known, that lives would be transformed by Him and for Him.
