Bedlam 2023

Join us at BEDLAM 2023: embark!

Bedlam is our BIG district wide retreat for junior high students (Gr 6-8) at beautiful Muskoka Woods. Join students from our Alliance family of churches for a retreat you will never forget. Grow deeper with friends, leaders and God through large and small group sessions. Also enjoy some amazing Muskoka Woods activities!

DETAILS:

WHO:This is a middle school event (GR 6-8)

WHEN: Friday Oct 27. Leaving Wellspring Church at 4:30pm.  Sunday Oct 29. Returning to Wellspring Church at around 5:00pm.

WHERE: Muskoka Woods Sports Resort585 Hwy 141 Box 130 Rosseau, Ontario

HOW MUCH:

Early Bird: $200 total. $100 deposit DUE Wed. Sept. 27 at midnight. Remaining $100 DUE Oct 11.

Regular Rate: $220 total. $110 deposit DUE before Wed. Oct 4. Remaining $110 DUE Oct 11. Cost includes transportation and all retreat activities and meals. Dinner not included Friday night but a snack will be provided. Be sure to eat dinner before coming on Friday.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON

Saturday afternoon will include free time where students can participate in different actives around camp. Some activities require signup and payment:

• High Ropes - $10

• Climbing Wall - $5

• Archery - signup required, no payment)

If your student is interested in one of these activities, select it in the add-ons section of the registration.

Packing List:

• Bible / journal / pen

• Labeled water bottle

• Hat

• Toiletries - deodorant / shampoo / soap

• Sunscreen

• Jacket, raincoat and rubber boots (it gets cold!)

• Closed-toed Running Shoes (required at activities)

• Insect Repellent

• Toothbrush / toothpaste

• Underwear and socks

• Shirts/tops and shorts

• Sweatshirts and/or sweaters

• Jeans and/or sweatpants

• Pajamas

• Sleeping bag / Pillow

•  Towels 

• Flashlight

• $$ for tuck shop

*We do not recommend bringing valuables such as tablets, jewelry or cell phones, as Muskoka Woods will not accept responsibility for lost or stolen items.
