Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
This is our first series of our new Grow Curriculum! Over the next four weeks, we are going to help our kids grow in Christ through four foundational spiritual habits - spending time with God, spending time encouraging others, using their gifts to serve God, and share their God story!
"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." - Psalm 119:105
Wellspring Kids' Ministry Vision:
Love Church: we desire for our children to want to come to church and enjoy it. We create a fun and welcoming environment for our kids to look forward to joining every week.
Belong: we desire for our children to have a sense of belonging to feel accepted and loved in our community, while also building a community of peers and adults that they can trust.
The Bible is True: we desire for our children to know that the Bible is the Word of God; and the word of God is trustworthy and true. We want our kids to know and learn the stories from the Bible knowing that each one shows us who God is and how He can work in our own lives today.
Experience Jesus: we desire for our kids to be hungry to experience Jesus in unlimited ways. Through prayer and scripture but also by recognizing the Holy’s Spirits presence and power in their lives.
Sunday Kids Zone - Nursery To Grade 5
Due to COVID-19, there is currently no Nursery or Child care available Sunday mornings. Join the weekly connection email to stay up to date with Wellspring's response to re-opening church.
Every Sunday beginning at 10am we have Nursery care available for infants (birth-age 2) and Children's Church, all located on the Lower Level. Children's Church is for Kids in Preschool to Grade 5 and consists of "Wee Worship" (Preschool and JK/SK) and "Kids Worship" (Grades 1-5) followed by teaching time where the children will participate in 45 minutes of large group learning and a small group, age-based classes, that dives deeper into the ideas presented during the large group.
As part of our Plan To Protect policy, we require all children to be registered by their parents to participate in our programs.
Wellspring Kids Safety
To make sure we can identify your child and maintain a safe environment, we ask all parents on Sunday mornings to register and sign in their child(ren) electronically at our Children's Ministry desk in the hallway on the Lower Level. Electronic sign in will produce two labels, one for the child(ren) with their name on it and one for the parent/guardian with a code. The code is specific to your child(ren) and will be required to pick them up at the end of service.
